Lo scorso venerdì, gli ALCEST hanno pubblicato la loro sesta opera “Spiritual Instinct” su Nuclear Blast. Per dare ai fan nuovi dettagli sulla creazione del disco, hanno lanciato un nuovo trailer nel quale il frontman Neige parla approfonditamente dei testi e dell’artwork:

Registrato al Drudenhaus Studio in Francia con Benoît Roux e scritto sia durante che dopo un lungo periodo di tour a supporto del disco di grande successo “Kodama” del 2016, il nuovo e catartico album sta portando i pionieri del blackgaze in oscuri paesaggi sonori. L’artwork è stato creato ancora una volta da Førtifem.

Per concludere il 2019, gli ALCEST faranno la loro apparizione in alcuni festival, prima di imbarcarsi per il loro tour da headliner recentemente annunciato a supporto di “Spiritual Instinct” a Febbraio/Marzo 2020, con le band di supporto BIRDS IN ROW e KÆLAN MIKLA. Inoltre, sono state confermate le prime date ai festival del prossimo anno.
