“Of Truth and Sacrifice” è un concept album con alla base, come suggerisce il titolo, i temi di “verità” e “sacrificio” nello stile e nel sound unico della band tedesca con l’aggiunta di archi e orchestrazioni scritte assieme al produttore Sven Helbig e registrate successivamente a Minsk con il direttore d’orchestra Wilhelm Keitel. In aggiunta agli oltre 100 minuti di musica della versione standard sarà disponibile una limited edition con un documentario di 90 minuti, “Mein grünes Herz in dunklen Zeiten“ (= “My Green Heart In Dark Times“), ad opera del regista Ingo Schmoll che ha seguito la band per quasi un anno per immortalare la storia degli HEAVEN SHALL BURN. Maik Weichert checked in with the following comment: “For our conditions it is an unusual video for an unusual HEAVEN SHALL BURN song and was lots of fun to shoot. ‘Übermacht’ is one of our favorite songs off the album and we are thrilled to hear what you think of it.”
