Secondo quanto riportato su Twitter da Riki Rachtman, ex-presentatore di Headbangers Ball, prima di morire Lemmy aveva disposto che le proprie ceneri venissero incapsulate in alcuni proiettili e consegnati ai suoi amici più stretti. Questo il tweet di Rachtman:
