I NECROPHOBIC pubblicheranno il 15 marzo 2024 il loro decimo album in studio, “In the Twilight Grey”, ancora una volta per l’etichetta tedesca Century Media Records. Disponibile da oggi il lyric video del nuovo singolo “As Stars Collide”, creato da Brendan McGowan:

“Per quanto mi riguarda è la canzone più importante del nuovo album. Inizia con la melodia principale che era in realtà qualcosa che mia madre mi ha cantato da bambino nei primi anni ’70. È quasi come una nenia, un’oscura ninna nanna. Volevo onorare la sua melodia ma riportarla nel mio contesto. Ho usato una delle più antiche storie mai raccontate e ho tratto ispirazione dalla Discesa di Inanna negli Inferi, la storia in cui la stella del mattino e della sera si incontrano negli inferi per decidere se il bene o il male dovrebbero regnare. Volevo creare qualcosa che si estendesse oltre le barriere del metal.”
