Pridian: presentano il nuovo singolo “DINY” e annunciano il nuovo album

Il quartetto metalcore estone PRIDIAN pubblica il nuovo singolo “DINY” e annuncia il nuovo disco “Venetian Dark”, in uscita il 16 maggio su Century Media Records.
Il disco, il primo full length, segue l’EP di debutto del 2023 “Cybergnosis”. Con l’uscita di “Venetian Dark”, i Pridian dimostrano non solo il loro potenziale nella scena metalcore internazionale ma anche la necessità di maggiori attenzioni per la crescente scena metal estone.

“Credo che l’umanità abbia perso la connessione con la natura, con il pianeta e persino con se stessa. Sfruttiamo senza sosta ogni singola risorsa, spinti dal profitto e dall’avidità. Le nostre ideologie sono diventate superficiali e stiamo diventando sempre meno empatici. Anche se finiamo per distruggere la Terra, sembra che abbiamo questa capacità di sopravvivenza come gli scaragaggi. Probabilmente troveremo il modo di lanciarci nello spazio, scoprire un altro pianeta da abitare e ricominciare il ciclo”.

About Pridian:
Founded 2018 in Tartu, Estonia, metalcore quartet Pridian channels the intensity of their experiences and emotions into a distinctive sound defined by dark, heavy grooves, commanding vocals, and cinematic melodies enhanced with electronic elements. Their first album, “The Rotten Unknown” (released in 2021 under the name ÆØNS), earned a nomination for “Metal Album of the Year” at the Estonian Music Awards. Building on this success, Pridian released the EP “Cybergnosis” in 2023, and signed with label Century Media Records in September 2024. Now, with the release of “Venetian Dark” as their first full length record as Pridian, the quintet prove their place in the international metalcore scene but also why Estonia’s growing metal scene deserves more light in the future.
