Come riportato dal The Guardian, il fondatore di Def Jam Records e arcinoto produttore discografico, Rick Rubin ha annunciato il suo primo libro “The Creative Act: A Way of Being”. Rubin ha detto del suo libro:

Ho deciso di scrivere un libro su cosa fare per realizzare una grande opera d’arte. Invece, si è rivelato un libro su come essere.

Secondo l’editore britannico Canongate il libro di Rubin:
