Stabbing: firmano con Century Media Records

Comunicato stampa:

Guarda il visualizer video di “Vortex Of The Severed Dead”:

Stabbing take their name literally, impaling ears with razor sharp brutal death metal. And the wounds are about to get gangrenous, with the blades forged in the toxic Texas air that birthed subgenre legends Devourment, new-school giants Frozen Soul and, of course, riff reinventors Pantera.

In the short three years since forming, Stabbing have begun closing the gap between them and those that came before—QUICKLY; guitarist Marvin Ruiz has joined Devourment, while vocalist Bridget Lynch readily and handily filled in for an ill Ricky Myers while touring with Suffocation. The rest of the world is about to catch up, with a signing to metal tentpole Century Media: soon it won’t just be those who can decipher Lynch’s inhuman growls and wrap their heads around Ruiz’s dizzying riffs.

The insanity has been flying across the country at absurd BPMs, following a whirlwind touring cycle that found them on the aforementioned Suffocation tour (alongside Incantation and now-labelmates Skeletal Remains), Defeated Sanity, Decrepit Birth and more. Peppered in were festival appearances, such as Chicago’s ultra brutal Domination Fest and state (and label) mate’s Frozen Soul’s Wrecking Ball, which marked the debut of the current lineup, rounded out by bassist Matt Day and drummer Nat Conner.

As brutal as the OG demo, Ravenous Psychotic Onslaught EP and debut LP Extirpated Mortal Process were, the band’s latest demo proves there’s (d)evolution to come. Now complemented by Devourment’s Ruben Rosas and PeelingFlesh’s D Harris, plus a new mix+master by Cryptopsy’s Christian Donaldson (Suffocation/Ingested/Shadow of Intent), there’s further proof that the wounds can only get deeper. Oh yes, there will be blood.
