Swallow The Sun: annunciano il nuovo album “Shining”, ascolta il singolo “What I Have Become”

“Shining”, questo è il nome del nuovo album degli SWALLOW THE SUN che verrà pubblicato su Century Media Records il 18 ottobre 2024. Disponibile il nuovo brano “What I Have Become”, che parla di trasformazione e rinascita personale.
Il nuovo disco è prodotto e mixato da Dan Lancaster (Bring Me the Horizon, Muse, Enter Shikari, ecc.), masterizzato da Tony Lindgren (Fascination Street Studios) e registrato da Juho Räihä presso i SoundSpiral Audio, tranne le voci registrate da Dan Lancaster. L’artwork è stato curato da Rami Mursula.

“‘What I Have Become’ parla di quel momento in cui ci si guarda profondamente negli occhi, attraverso lo specchio, e i propri occhi iniziano a raccontare ciò che la propria anima è diventata invece di ciò che si è sempre voluto che fosse. La cosa più difficile è perdonare se stessi e rompere quel cerchio”.
Dopo il nostro ultimo album mi è stato subito chiaro che scrivere un altro album come Moonflowers mi avrebbe ucciso. Così, ho espresso a me stesso il desiderio che se mai ci sarà nuova musica, allora per favore abbiate un po’ di pietà per voi stessi piuttosto che essere quel buco nero infinito che risucchierà il resto della vostra luce e della vostra anima solo per il gusto di farlo. Dal punto di vista musicale, questo album brilla come un diamante glaciale e ha una potenza e una forza che si sente come un calcio in faccia! Mentre dal punto di vista dei testi l’album tratta di come la paura della vita finisca per ucciderti e di come la malinconia possa diventare il tuo Dio.
Vogliamo ringraziare tutto il supporto e la fiducia di Century Media, per non parlare del nostro talentuoso produttore Dan Lancaster che ha avuto le palle e il coraggio di buttarsi a capofitto con questa band e di farci uscire dalla nostra zona di comfort. Questo album sembra davvero un’alba nel cielo notturno”.

Their upcoming studio album Shining will be listened to in its entirety, before its official release on October 18th. Please note the band will not perform at the event.
