Le leggende del doom metal finlandese SWALLOW THE SUN sono tornate con la rivisitazione di uno dei brani preferiti dai loro fan, presentando una versione senza growl di “MelancHoly (Holy Edit)” dal loro attesissimo album in edizione digitale deluxe, “Shining Dark Deluxe”. Questa edizione speciale invita i fan a vivere un’esperienza più profonda e atmosferica, mostrando interpretazioni uniche di alcuni brani selezionati.

SWALLOW THE SUN Claims Finnish Grammy Glory! In a groundbreaking achievement, SWALLOW THE SUN has taken home their first-ever Finnish Grammy (Emma Gala Award) for Best Metal Album (2024) with their latest release, SHINING. After two previous nominations, this well-deserved win marks a monumental milestone for the band, solidifying SHINING as the Metal Album of the Year.
The band expresses their gratitude: “A huge thank you to Backbone Management, Century Media Records, Dan Lancaster, Pasi, Aleksi, Markus, Jaani, and Juha Ruusunen for helping us reach this milestone. More than two decades of despair, beauty, and heartache have not only shaped but fueled Finnish melancholy torchbearers, the chart-topping and Finnish Grammy winner Swallow The Sun. Formed in Jyväskylä in 2000, the quintet has enjoyed numerous fan-lauded music videos (10+ million YouTube views) and streaming dominance (50+ million Spotify plays), while also embarking on a four-continent, 900-show run over the course of their 25-year career. Their new music, however, is the group’s first step on the new path to the unknown.
