The Lurking Fear: presentato il nuovo singolo ‘Death Reborn’

I THE LURKING FEAR, l’old-school death metal band svedese formata da membri di At The Gates, Disfear, God Macabre, Skitsystem, Tormented e The Haunted, pubblicheranno a breve il loro nuovo album “Death, Madness, Horror, Decay”, disponibile dal 19 novembre su Century Media Records. La band presenta il secondo singolo estratto “Death Reborn”, 1:11 minuti di pura violenza sonora. Guarda il video diretto da Max Ljungberg: Il commento del cantante Tomas Lindberg Redant: “‘Death Reborn’ è stata una delle ultime canzoni ad esser state completate. Un tipico pezzo in puro stile old school death metal, il riff portante mi ha letteralmente spazzato via la prima volta che l’ho ascoltato e subito abbiamo pensato di inserirlo nella prima metà dell’album. I testi sono stati scritti piuttosto facilmente, sempre ispirati all’universo lovecraftiano ma con un pizzico di aggressività in più. E so benissimo che è un brano molto breve, poco più di un minuto… ma se hai già tre riff che funzionano perfettamente perché complicarsi le cose?” “Death, Madness, Horror, Decay” è il seguito del debut album “Out Of The Voiceless Grave” (2017) ed è stato registrato presso i Welfare Studios di Göteborg in Svezia con Per Stålberg e Kalle Lilja. L’artwork è stato curato ancora una volta da Stefan Thanneur ed è disponibile di seguito assieme alla tracklist. Presente in veste di ospite Chris Reifert (Autopsy, ex Death) dietro al microfono per il brano “Kaleidoscopic Mutations”.
