The Tangent: dettagli del nuovo album

I The Tangent, gruppo progressive rock capitanato da Andy Tillson, hanno annunciato la release di un nuovo album, il seguito di A Spark In The Aether del 2015. Il nuovo e nono album sarà The Slow Rust Of Forgotten Machinery e sarà pubblicato il 21 luglio 2017 su InsideOut.

Ancora una volta la lineup è formata da Andy Tillison alle tastiere e alla voce (e per la prima volta in un album dei Tangent alle batterie!), Jonas Reingold (Karmakanic, The Flower Kings) al basso, Luke Machin (Maschine) alle chitarre e voci, Theo Travis (famoso per aver collaborato con David Gilmour e Steven Wilson) al sax e al flauto e una new entry, Marie-Eve de Gaultier (Maschine) alle tastiere e voci. Non mancano gli ospiti speciali come il leader e fondatore dei Chumbawamba Boff Whalley alle voci e il DJ/produttore Matt Farrow.

The Slow Rust Of Forgotten Machinery vede anche la partecipazione di Mark Buckingham, noto illustratore di Marvel e DC Comics il quale si è occupato della realizzazione dell’artwork e delle illustrazioni del booklet.

L’album sarà disponibile in limited digipak CD, 2LP + CD e in digitale.
